Balance & Stability After 55
Eight weeks of graded balance, strength and confidence work built on the same force plate research behind the athlete programs.
How to run it
- Balance is trainable at any age, and it responds fast — most people see change inside three weeks.
- Always train within arm's reach of a counter or sturdy chair. Confidence comes from safety, not bravado.
- Three short sessions a week beats one long one. Fifteen minutes is a complete session here.
Springbak® note
Force plate testing at Weber State University found that people standing on Springsoles required more than twice the force to be displaced. That is the same patented platform used by collegiate athletes, in your everyday walking shoe.

How it progresses
Phase 1 · Weeks 1-3
Supported balance and sit-to-stand strength. Hands on the counter.
Phase 2 · Weeks 4-6
Remove support, add head turns and reaching.
Phase 3 · Weeks 7-8
Uneven surfaces, step-ups and walking turns. Retest in week 8.
