Footwear co-development

Co-Develop a Footwear Platform With Springbak®

Co-development pairs your product team with Springbak® to build a custom variant of the patented composition for a specific shoe or category.

It is designed for brands that want a platform of their own, integrated into existing footwear designs rather than a new midsole tool.

Full partnership terms are on the patented OEM footwear technology page.

What co-development includes

  • Joint variant definition under the co-development tier (SB-CD)
  • Up to 3 prototype variations
  • 4–8 months to a production-ready compound
  • Certificate of conformance with every production lot

Who it suits

  • Footwear brands and product teams with an active development calendar
  • Minimum 3 years in footwear
  • ISO 9001 or an equivalent quality management system

Patents and independent testing

In Weber State force-plate testing, more than twice the force was required to displace a standing subject on Springsoles compared with standing without them. The study measured standing stability only.
